Certified Speaking Professional
Paul du Toit is only the 2nd resident South African to be awarded the CSP designation and the first in 24 years. He received his CSP on 3 August 2008 in New York.
The CSP designation is typically held by less than 1000 professional speakers globally. Only two national speakers associations under the umbrella of the Global Speakers Federation (GSF) are licensed to award the CSP designation – the United States and Australia.
The Certified Speaking Professional designation is the most sought-after and visible measure of professionalism in the speaking business internationally. It demonstrates professional standards in four key areas:
- Association membership
- Continuing education
- Speaking performance
- Business management
